Born and raised in Uganda and currently living in Vienna, Austria.
Ahmed Mande graduated at the Makerere University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art after following his childhood dream of becoming an artist.

”My love for color portrays the spirit of my work expressed with an energy and creativity radiating from an almost indescribable place.
During the creating process, my painting technique is conducted with various palette knife sizes, rollers and bristle brushes as my favorite tools using acrylic or oils on canvas.          

I build a strong bond between the viewer and the painted animals by focusing on the detailed construction of the eyes to cherish the emotional connection between the muted wildlife and humans.
My work is designed to touch hearts, souls and to reach out to the whole world. Inspiration for my paintings comes from the details and moments of everyday happenings, like my childhood and my recent life.”
